I have a 1916, 1923 1941 1943 1944, and 1959 dimes. Can anyone tell me how much they might be worth? Thanks:)?
ok the 1916 dime has no mint mark but the 1923 has a "D" on it.
.10 x 6 = .60 = 60?

$.60
Sorry - you have to check to see where they are minted. There should be a letter right under the face of whoever is on the dime (terrible I can’t remember). Perhaps you can get lucky and the right mint would of produced the coin (if there is a "D" it may be worth a few hundred dollars as the Denver mint only produced a few) - but they are probably not worth anymore then they worth.
You would be surprised how "un-valuable" some the old coins are. I have pennies from as far back as 1908 and I don’t think they are worth anything - sadly, I don’t even know where the book is (My Dad and I had these old books specifically for collecting pennies - little hobby we had when I was a kid).

Even a fairly rare coin will not be worth much unless it is uncirculated. That means looking like it was minted just yesterday. Even a slight bit of wear will cause the value to plummet.

The dimes you have are all silver dimes, unlike the fake dimes that are in circulation since 1964. Once upon a time, a dime would buy you a large candy bar or a Coke. You can take your REAL dime to a coin collector and he will be happy to give you enough modern FAKE dimes in trade to buy that candy bar or Coke.
The 1916 and the 1923 dimes may have further value, depending on their mint mark and rarity.

The value for each coin just in terms of silver is about $1.10 as of today Feb. 5, 2010. They could be worth more in terms of collector value. Peek at a coin value book at the book store. Because of it’s size and silver content, silver dimes wore down pretty fast compared to nearly all other coins. Think of them getting rubbed up in thousands of pockets with heavier pennies, nickels, quarters and half-dollars. If the year and the figures of Mercury and Roosevelt are sharp, it would be worth checking values.

10 cents each. If you find coins from the 1800’s then you would probably get some cash.
